Turning Type 1 Into Type None One Kilometre at a Time

On Sunday, 17 May 2026, I’ll be riding 60 km at Parramatta Park as part of Our Journey to Cure T1D. This event brings together riders of all levels — with 135 km, 90 km, and 60 km routes — but the real purpose is singular: raising the funds needed to change the future of type 1 diabetes.
For people living with T1D, every day is a balancing act. There’s no pause button, no break, and no predictable routine. That’s why your donation matters. Every contribution directly supports research, technology, and breakthroughs that can ease that burden — and ultimately help turn type 1 into type none.
When you donate, you’re not just supporting my ride. You’re backing scientists working on better treatments. You’re helping families who face the daily realities of T1D. You’re investing in a future where no one has to fear the complications or risks that come with this condition.
The day will finish with a BBQ celebration, family entertainment, raffles, and a community united by one goal: progress. Whether you ride, cheer, or donate, you’re part of something meaningful.
If you’re able to contribute, your support will push us one kilometre closer to a cure.

I’m riding for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D), cycling from Parramatta Park across Sydney on Sunday, 17 May 2026!
Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
Please support my cycle today.

Break a leg Greg! Actually pls don't but wishing you a great ride!
