Maastricht Marathon 24th May + Mt Kilimanjaro Summit 23rd November!

Hello friends and family!

As you probably know, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2023 during my first year of university. 

As much as the disease can sometimes be a pain, I am passionate about proving that Type 1 Diabetes can be a force for positive change rather than being limiting. 

In May 2025, I completed the Port Maquarie Iron Man 70.3 and raised over $5000. This money has gone toward progressing research to help find a cure once and for all for T1D.

This year, I will be participating in the Maastricht Marathon running 42kms, which is where I am currently on exchange. 

Later in the year, I will be (attempting) to summit Mt Kilimanjaro which is the tallest free standing mountain in the world with an altitude of 5,895 metres. 

There are promising signs on the nearby horizon regarding a cure for T1D involving stem cells so dump ya money in!!
