Road to Research
We’ll be hosting a series of events on the Road to Research culminating in an epic 1200km ride from Lourdes in France to Lords Cricket Ground in London.
The ride will be completed by two ordinary Dads from the rural Queensland town of Allora. Mark Mason is the father of Benjamin (age 14 - diagnosed age 4) and James (age 12 - diagnosed age 3) and James Turner is the Father of Ava (age 13 - diagnosed age 12). Mark and James know the impact T1D has had on their own children and are seeking to provide a brighter future for their kids and the millions of people with T1D all around the world. This truly is a story of from little things big things grow.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 7 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
DONATE NOW to help the Mark and James change the lives of Australians living with T1D - both now and in the future through vital research. Thank you.
