JUMP for a Cure

Hello :)

I was diagnosed with T1D when I was 4 years old, and at the time my parents were assured that there would be a cure by the time I was 10 years old... And yet, I will be 29 this year!
Diabetes management has come leaps and bounds in the last 25 years, but there's still so many variables that go into the day to day management, so many things that can go wrong, and not to mention so many injections/ site changes.
I'm hoping in another 25 years, maybe I will finally get that cure I've been waiting for! And the money raised in this fundraiser will be able to contribute to that.

I'm jumping for a great cause!

I'm jumping out of a plane to support Breakthrough T1D in their mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).

T1D can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy. Breakthrough T1D is the largest funder of T1D research in the world with a vision to create a world without T1D.
