We're fundraising for Breakthrough T1D to defeat T1D!
Our end-of-year concert, "All Together Now" at the Bardon Bowls Club, will raise funds for Breakthrough T1D, by donating a portion of the ticket sales plus a raffle. Our beloved student Nori was diagnosed with T1D when she was only 4 years old, and this organisation was pivotal in supporting her and her family in those early days of diagnosis. Nori is a real trouper, and doesn't let her condition limit her from doing what she loves most - performing! We are in awe of her resilience, and want to give back to the organisation that gave her so much and hopefully be part of stopping T1D altogether!
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 7 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
