I’m fundraising for Breakthrough T1D to defeat T1D!
Four years ago, our beautiful daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes — a moment that changed our lives forever.
Since that day, she has shown us a strength, courage and resilience that no child should ever have to need. She has learned to live with something that never switches off — the constant checking, counting, planning, injections and decisions that come with T1D — and yet she continues to face each day with incredible determination and a smile.
We are so incredibly proud of the young girl she is and the strength she shows every single day.
But we don’t want her to simply learn to live with Type 1 Diabetes. We want a cure.
That’s why we are holding our annual fundraising event in support of Breakthrough T1D, a leading organisation dedicated to accelerating life-changing breakthroughs towards a world without Type 1 Diabetes.
Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to a future where children like our daughter don’t have to grow up with this disease.
Four years on, our hope remains stronger than ever.
