Go Blue for Breakthroughs this World Diabetes Day!
Did you know there are over 11,000 Australian school-aged kids living with type 1 diabetes (T1D)? That's more than 1 per school!
At Breakthrough T1D, our mission is to create a world without T1D. Your school can help us do it by going blue to spread awareness and support breakthrough T1D research.
While you can Go Blue for Breakthroughs any time of the year, consider spreading T1D awareness on World Diabetes Day, Friday, 14 November 2025.
What are you waiting for? Register your school, then create your school page and update your fundraising page!

Ways to GO BLUE

Wear it
Whether it’s a blue hoodie, socks, shoelaces, or even a blue wig, beanie, or cap, your fashion statement can make a difference for people with T1D.

Colour it
Get creative with blue hair chalk, temporary hair spray, and more! Add a splash of blue to your school by hanging blue banners or balloons.

Make it
Unleash your creative skills! Craft something blue and share it with others, for example blue awareness bracelets and custom t-shirts.
